What's In a Name?

The new puppies are settling in quite nicely now that they've been with us a few days. I love when a new foster litter gets comfortable and runs toward us the moment they see or hear us. The first day or so, the puppies are always a bit skeptical but then the "scary" period wears off and they come out of their shells and warm up. It may have something to do with the fact that they know we feed them, but let's not split hairs! We're there now and I love it!

There is nothing like the sight of a herd of puppies running toward you! And when those puppies are fluffy, even better! These puppies are fluffy and cute and look like real life teddy bears.

Followers of this blog know we name each litter with a particular theme. We've done a New York litter, an Italian litter, etc. It is usually themed after something we love or relating to us in some way. So, being the American football fans that we are and the fact that most of the puppies in this litter were males, we decided to go with a football theme.

Ladies and Gentleman, I proudly present The Football Puppies!

Monday Mischief Blog Hop

Once again, it is we who are getting into the Monday Mischief and not our dogs! However, we invite you and your pets to join us in our mischief! Please follow along as The Wag Tales chronicles our newest foster litter! Starting today, we will bring you the tales, mischief and milestones of 6 adorable German Shepherd Mix puppies, also known as The Football Puppies!

The Football Puppies are 4 weeks old so they won't be ready for adoption for another 4 weeks. In that time, we will follow their adventures. I hope you all enjoy the journey!

Happy Monday Mischief!
